我厂有冷却塔(70m~2逆流式)20多台,配用一台41~#风机及40kW 电机,其连结是由一根长轴及二付法兰做为传动机构,法兰之间采用钢垫片,但是由于运行时间过长,加之蒸汽较大,钢垫片及螺栓经常磨损,有时造成设备事故,使检修和运行损失达万元,经过技术人员及工人同志的研究,在1987年逐步将长轴连结改为万向接手连接,既克服了检修频繁的弊
