Danny Boyle, director of “Slumdog Millionaire,” did not just focus on the poor, backward side of Mumbai, but instead showed up to the audience with a thriving and vibrant cosmopolitan city. India, an excellent economy, has emerged as an emerging market where many first-tier brands compete for business. And luxury consumption has become the best expression of living standard for the middle class and wealthy class in India. Today’s India, a large shopping center built up, all the luxury brands have entered, India also has its own fashion week, Indian models shuttle in the global fashion conference, Indian designers more and more mainstream market attention.
