古和平同志原是铜鼓县林业局局长,现在虽离开了林业工作岗位,但对林业建设仍有感情,很关心。当他看到郁郁葱葱的人工中幼林,感到无比喜悦;看到大片过伐残次林,就想办法,提出改造建议;看到乱砍滥伐中幼林,又要求尽快制止这股歪风。省林业厅厅长李明志同志收到古和平同志的这篇文章后,立即批示:“古和平同志提出的意见,我看是正确的”。希望越来越多的同志都来关心林业,为振兴我省林业出谋献计。
