中国古典史学向来有“表意示义”与“逢异必记”的历史叙事传统。前者给了历史叙事以某种建构化的理由和名义,使古典历史叙事从一开始就隐含了某种超越事实常态的叙事意识和叙事追求,促进了叙事性写作中想象力与虚构意识的发展。后者则使“好奇尚异”具有了文统谱系上的合理合法性,并经由志怪与传奇,使对奇、异、怪、幻等超常态审美内容的追求,成为了中国古代俗文学叙事中一个相当核心的创作理念和内视审美理念。
Chinese classical history has always had the historical narrative tradition of “ideographic meaning” and “every word must be remembered”.
