2000年,全省人民在省委、省政府的正确领导下,认真贯彻落实中央经济工作会议和省委八届三次会议精神,按照省九届人大三次会议通过的《政府工作报告》提出的各项任务,继续实施增加投入、扩大内需为主的一系列宏观调控政策,紧紧抓住国内、国际经济环境逐步好转的有利机遇,加大了打好“四个硬仗”工作推进力度,大灾之年农业仍获得较好收成,全省宏观经济出现了重要转机,实现了经济增长速度与质量同步回升,总体经济步入了新的增长平台。经济运行中存在的主要问题是:影响经济发展的体制性、结构性矛盾、有效需求不足等深层次问题尚未从根本上解决,实现经济持续、快速、健康发展尚需付出艰苦的努力。
