基层民主是社会主义优越性的重要体现,也是建设特色社会主义国家的重要目标。新中国成立以来,我国非常重视基层民主建设,并取得了巨大成绩,但与建设中国特色社会主义、与建设社会主义新农村还有一定差距,加强基层民主建设仍然是当前的一项重要任务。加强基层民主建设是一项系统、长期的工作,需要从制度建设,法律保障,转变观念等多方面系统推进。
Grassroots democracy is an important manifestation of the superiority of socialism and an important goal of building a socialist country with a distinctive character. Since the founding of New China, our country has attached great importance to the building of grassroots democracy and has achieved great successes. However, there is still a long way to go to build socialism with Chinese characteristics and build a new socialist countryside. Strengthening democratic at the grassroots level is still an important task at present. Strengthening grassroots-level democracy building is a systematic and long-term task that needs to be systematically promoted in various aspects such as institution-building, legal protection and changing concepts.
