爱情是一个永恒的电影母题,这是说爱情的主题早在具体的电影作品之前就已经存在了,电影的过往历史不断重复地进行着对爱情的描绘,而今后电影历史还会继续对爱情进行不厌其烦地述说。爱情本身就是一个极其复杂的东西,就是一枚五味豆,酸甜苦辣全部融于其中,这样爱情电影就有着自己的类型种种。《恋爱中的宝贝》渲染了爱情的悲戚。大千世界,两个原本不相干的人在一个特定的时刻走到一起并相知相爱,有着醉人的神奇。但是这—份“神奇”可能就是虚幻的泡影,一旦触及冰凉、冷酷的现实,就被传染,被腐蚀,变味变质,最终,“神奇”酿成悲剧。
