The Yugoslav languages (Южнославянские языки) are a linguistic branch of the Slavic languages, including Bulgarian, Serbo-Croatian, Macedonian and Slovenian, in the Balkans and their adjacent areas: Bulgaria and the former Yugoslavia, as well as neighboring countries ( Greece, Albania, Austria, Hungary, Romania and the former Soviet Union). The above languages are also used in other countries in Europe, the Americas (mainly the United States and Canada) and Australia, with more than 30 million people. The Yugoslav languages are divided into two sub-linguistic branches: the Southeastern Slavic language
