锈病夏孢子发芽一般用蒸餾水或1%的葡萄糖液。1960年冬,我們曾用这两种液体来誘发杆銹的夏孢子发芽,结果全部未萌发。我們有些怀疑所用的发芽液是否有誘发作用。1961年,根据大别山农区试验站的研究结果,除用蒸镏水与1%葡萄糖液外,又增用3%葡萄糖液来誘发杆锈夏孢子发芽,结果仍然一无所获。1962后,我们参考了三个資料:一个是М.Ю.斯捷潘諾娃的試驗,她说在水中不发芽的条锈夏孢子,如果接种在麦株上可以达到100%的感染,即100%的发芽;一个是英国FvenchR·C·的試驗,他用一定浓度的松油类物質加在水中,証明該液可促进杆绣夏孢子发芽;另一个是歙县农科所三年零的小麦锈病研究工作
