地质系统小口径钻探技术经验交流会在党中央“调整、改革、整顿、提高”的方针指导下，以巩固、提高小口径钻探技术水平为主题，重点交流了江西赣东北队、湖北一队、贵州一○三队等单位管好、用好金刚石钻头的经验。同时，也交流了小口径钻探技术配套、小口径钻孔防斜以及复杂地层护孔堵漏等方面的经验。会议通过现场参观、分组讨论和专题坐谈，回顾了一九七七年三月桂林会议以来，小口径钻探的发展情况，肯定了成绩，总结了经验，分析了存在的问题，并提出了今后工作的措施意见。同志们普遍反映，这次会议开得及时，针对性强，经验具体，切合实际，很受启发，从而坚定了继续发展小口径钻探的信心，明确了当前主攻方向。可以予料，通过这次会议精神的贯彻和经验的推广，对推动小口径金刚石钻探的发展，将会起到积极作用。
Guided by the guideline of “adjustment, reform, rectification and improvement” of the CPC Central Committee, with the theme of consolidating and raising the standard of small-diameter drilling technology, the exchanging meeting of experience in small-bore drilling of geological systems focused on exchanges between Jiangxi’s Jiangxi Northeast team, Hubei’s first team, Guizhou 103 units and other units well, make good use of diamond bit experience. At the same time, we also exchanged experience in supporting small-diameter drilling technology, preventing small-diameter drilling holes and blocking holes in complex formation holes. The meeting reviewed the development of small-diameter drilling since the Guilin Conference in March 1977 through field visits, group discussions and special talks. It affirmed the achievements, summarized the experience, analyzed the existing problems and proposed the future Opinions on the measures of work. Comrades generally said that this meeting was convened in a timely, targeted and empirically concrete, practical and enlightened manner, thus confirming the confidence of continuing to develop small-diameter drilling and clearly defining the current direction of attack. It can be expected that through the implementation of this conference and the promotion of experience, it will play an active role in promoting the development of small-diameter diamond drilling.
