离散小波变换(DWT)虽被广泛应用在图像压缩领域,但它无法实现真正意义上的无损图像编码,为解决此问题,提出基于提升框架的整数小波变换(IWT),在IWT中应用最广的是内插双正交整数小波变换(IB-IWT),IB-IWT能够实现压缩后图像的有损至无损渐进重构,以及具有无损感兴趣区域(ROI)的有损图像重建,而且具有很低的计算复杂度与很少的存储空间。
Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) is widely used in the field of image compression, but it can not realize the real-time lossless image coding. To solve this problem, the lifting wavelet transform (IWT) based on lifting frame is proposed, which is the most widely used in IWT (IB-IWT), IB-IWT enables lossless to lossless progressive reconstruction of compressed images and lossy image reconstruction with non-destructive area of interest (ROI), and has the advantages of Very low computational complexity and very little storage space.
