Concentrated collection of articles mostly UNESCO propositions, basically belongs to the official research text, so the publisher did not make copyright claims and other demands. The reason why the author’s name is translated into English instead of the nationality date mainly takes into consideration his long-term work for UNESCO, and this article should also be an invitation to the organization. Through fluent English, concise style and structured text structure, the author gives a comprehensive introduction to the macro framework of Japanese cultural policy, and gives some explanations on certain matching policy project tools. By reading this article, we have a more complete understanding of the status quo of Japanese cultural policies and a comparison with the current mode of operation of cultural policies in the United States.
