飞机在农业上正得到广泛应用。现就几个主要项目概述如下:1、防治农业病虫害。这是农业航空开展最早、作业量最大的项目之一。可对农作物,果园,牧场,土壤喷施杀虫剂、杀菌剂、除草剂、肥料和落叶剂等,既可用粉剂或颗粒剂,也可用液体喷雾。防病时杀菌剂和杀虫剂合并喷施,可收到兼治效果。在苏联育40%和美国有65%的病虫害防治是使用飞机。美国的纳柯·第柯夫尔农航服务公司飞机
