The Scarlet Letter written by Nathaniel Hawthorne is a great book. Through feminist criticism we can get how The Scarlet Letter may be read as dramatizing Hester Prynnes spiritual and physical struggle to survive as an individual in a society whose values authorize the privileged power of men.
