The Eden story is actually a metaphor, a metaphor of Jewish people losing their homes from God. It tells the story of God making Eden and setting Adam up until Adam and Eve were finally punished for being driven out of Eden and suffering. It is a true record of the Jewish people entering and leaving Canaan, the history of Palestine. Specifically, the core idea of the Eden story can be concatenated with the following five terms: gift - covenant - betrayal - banishment - suffering. However, the Eden story still has profound implications for other ethnic groups outside the Jewish people, such as what or how the prophets of the Jewish nation did for the sake of their nation’s existence. What is more, only those who belong to only one small projectile or How minor minor traditions evolved into a general tradition that can be universally accepted or recognized throughout the world. For this reason alone, this story deserves our reminiscences, imagination, comparison and examination of the course of our own culture.
