Objective: To study the therapeutic effect of aceclofenac on adjuvant arthritis in rats and its inhibitory effect on delayed-type hypersensitivity. Methods: Rats were injected with complete adjuvant to the tail and the tail to form experimental arthritis. After 9 days, secondary reaction obviously occurred. At this time, the administration was given in groups to observe the effect of aceclofenac on left and right of arthritis rats Hind paw swelling and thymus, spleen and adrenal weight. In addition, administration of aceclofenac to mice delayed-type hypersensitivity induced by SRBC or PC was observed before and after antigen challenge respectively. Results: Aceclofenac significantly inhibited the primary and secondary paw edema in rats with arthritis, and had an antagonistic effect on rat thymus atrophy, spleen and adrenal gland weight gain, and its intensity of action was similar to that of the equivalent dose of diclofenac. Aceclofenac administered after antigen challenge significantly inhibited the delayed-type hypersensitivity response in mice induced by SRBC or PC, whereas no effect was observed prior to antigen challenge. Conclusion: Aceclofenac in rats
