Recently, “Zhonghai 36-1 Advanced Asphalt” produced by Bohai heavy oil as raw material was appraised by experts. The technical indicators have reached or exceeded international standards, thus ending the history that China can not produce asphalt of high-grade highways. Suizhong 36-1 oilfield is currently the largest offshore oilfield in China with a reserve of 300 million tons. The first phase of the project has completed the production of 1.7 million tons of crude oil a year.
