与无机化学分析相比,有机化合物分析的发展已显著落后,它远远不能满足日益增长着的科学和技术上的要求。关于有机化合物分析中重要方向之现况,可以概括如下:许多有机化合物可根据其物理性质如熔点或沸点、折射率、结晶形状等而被鉴定。为此需要极纯的物质,且常常要有相当的数量。鉴定有机化合物的另一方法是进行定性反应。但所用的许多反应的历程及其作用的选择性,一般尚未研究清楚,尤其是那些在很激烈的条件下,如在浓硫酸中,进行的反应,更是如此。这便降低了所得结果的可靠性及说服力。
Compared with inorganic chemical analysis, the development of organic compound analysis has lagged far behind, it is far from meeting the growing scientific and technological requirements. The current status of important directions in the analysis of organic compounds can be summarized as follows: Many organic compounds can be identified based on their physical properties such as melting point or boiling point, refractive index, crystalline shape and the like. Extremely pure material is needed for this purpose, often in considerable quantities. Another way of identifying organic compounds is to conduct a qualitative reaction. However, the course of many of the reactions used and the selectivity of their effects have not generally been well studied, especially in the more intensive conditions, such as in concentrated sulfuric acid. This reduces the reliability and persuasion of the results obtained.
