2004,农历甲申年。中国眼镜行业名副其实的建设年。 是年1月,由国家质量监督检验检疫总局(简称:国家质检总局)审查批准并颁发了《眼镜产品生产许可证实施细则》(以下简称《细则》),同年3月,作为行业管理机构,中国眼镜协会向各有关会员单位和各地方眼镜协会(商会)发出《关于实施眼镜生产许可证有关事宜的通知》,并下发该《细则》,由此拉开了2004中国眼镜行业建设精彩华章的序幕。随后,这一在行业发展史上具有里程碑意义的制度,进入全面实施阶段,已经并将继续对中国眼镜行业的发展产生极其深远的影响; 在这一年里,另一引人注目的亮点是:随着行业的飞速发展和不断走向成熟,作为行业管理和自律机构的地方眼镜协会(商会)纷纷成立,宛如雨后春笋。中国眼镜事业向真正意义上的自律时代迈进！ 2004,注定成为中国眼镜行业多姿多彩、有声有色、轰轰烈列的一年！
