American scientists announced that they have bred a genetically modified rice. A small-scale field trial of a new variety of rice has shown that it can yield 35% more than the current rice yield and contribute to reducing atmospheric greenhouse effect. Experts believe that the new variety of rice may bring a rice revolution.
