语言是文化的载体,语言服务于文化并反映文化的需求。文化上的差异往往是造成交际中语用失误的最主要原因。随着中国政治经济的飞速发展,英语的实际应用功能也日益凸显。目前,初中英语教学中普遍对于英美文化的教学不够重视,导致学生在英语学习的初级阶段就对英美文化和西方的一些传统常识认识造成偏差,造成他们在日后的跨文化交际中使用语言不规范等问题。本文意在论证文化教学在初中英语教学中的重要性,提出具体实施方法。
Language is the carrier of culture, language serves culture and reflects cultural needs. Cultural differences are often the main reason for the pragmatic failure in communication. With the rapid development of China’s political economy, the practical application of English has become increasingly prominent. At present, junior high school English teaching generally neglects the teaching of Anglo-American culture, which leads students to deviate from Anglo-American culture and some western traditional common sense knowledge in the primary stage of English learning, causing them to use non-standard language in future intercultural communication And other issues. This article aims to demonstrate the importance of culture teaching in junior high school English teaching and put forward specific implementation methods.
