INTRODUCTION Harbor engineering is mostly built on soft ground composed of soft clay, peat or loose sand. When designing a structure, this foundation condition is the most important condition for determining the type of structure. When this type of foundation is used for construction, it must be strictly controlled, otherwise accidents may occur easily. Recently, the accumulation of harmful sludge on the seabed has received a lot of attention as a pollution problem, and the soft base zone is a natural environment where the pollution caused by construction is secondary pollution in such areas.
