用于铁道车辆的复合材料主要分为两大类: (1)纤维增强塑料(玻璃钢)及其夹层结构; (2)组合层压材及其夹层结构。以玻璃钢为代表的车辆用复合材料的研究工作早就开始了,并且不断地试制和试用研制品,以尽量扩大其应用范围。车辆用结构材料必须是不燃或难燃度很高的,日本最近正在积极研制能够符合运输部“燃烧试验方法”中规定的不燃性标准的玻璃钢,以促进它在结构部件方面的应用。
Composite materials used in railway vehicles are mainly divided into two categories: (1) fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) and sandwich structure; (2) composite laminates and sandwich structure. The research work on composite materials for vehicles, represented by FRP, has already begun, and the trial products and trial products are continuously trial-produced to try its best to extend its application scope. Structural materials for vehicles must be non-combustible or have a high degree of flame retardance. Japan has recently been actively developing FRP that meets the non-flammability criteria specified in the “Test Method for Combustion Test” of the Ministry of Transport to facilitate its application to structural components.
