金融报道在美国媒体的新闻报道中占据着重要位置。美国社会有影响的大报都涉及金融报道,既包括《纽约时报》《华盛顿邮报》《洛杉矶时报》《今日美国》这样的综合性报纸,也包括《华尔街日报》这样的专业财经报纸,欧洲影响力最大的财经日报《金融时报》1997年推出美国版以来,目前也已在美国占据了一席之地。《纽约时报》这些有影响的综合性大报普遍涉足金融报道,但篇章较少,一般放在商业版。《华尔街日报》和《金融时报》(美国版)等专业报纸占据了金融报道主流地位。以《华尔街日报》为例,18个要闻版外,每天还有14个“市场”版和14个“金融投资”版,另外的“个人生活与理财”专版也有6-12个版之多。
Financial reporting holds an important place in the news coverage of the U.S. media. American influential big newspapers all cover financial reporting, including such comprehensive newspapers as The New York Times, The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times and USA Today, as well as professional financial newspapers such as The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, the most influential financial newspaper, has now occupied a place in the United States since its introduction in the United States in 1997. The New York Times, the most influential and comprehensive big newspaper, is heavily involved in financial reporting, but with fewer chapters and generally on the commercial version. Specialized newspapers such as the Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times (US version) dominate financial reporting. Take The Wall Street Journal as an example. There are also 14 Market Editions and 14 Financial Investment Editions daily, out of the 18 News Editions. There are also 6 special editions of Personal Life & Money Management -12 versions as much.
