1986年6月,《人民日报·海外版》登载了这样一则消息:根据1950年6月7日中央人民政府政务院秘书厅政省齐第三六号以“奉董(必武)副总理指示,韩复榘于抗日战争初期因抗战不力被处死刑,虽属罪有应得,但并未构成奸逆,财产不应没收”的指示精神,将在济南的两处房产发还。连同之前发还的在北京的房产,韩复榘的子女继承了韩复榘在大陆的所有房产。这则消息见报后,在海内外引起广泛反响,催发了不少当事人、同代人对韩复榘的回忆。
