启功先生当然应该算是一位雅人。他的盛名主要得之于书法。其书结体取柳公权之谨严,间架端庄,无丝毫懈怠之气;又参以瘦金书的劲健,气息之中,却充沛着二王的灵动。像“板桥体”、“金冬心体”一类近乎狂怪的路子,启功之书是一毫不染的。“游丝细草如跳龙”是启功先生赠友人马国权诗中之句,其实,启功先生的书法正可当此形容。“笔不论钢与毛,腕不论低与高,行笔如乱水通人过,结字如悬崖置屋牢。”这是启功先生(写字示友)中所述的作字经验,是深得书法技艺真髓的确论。 启功先生的书法曾经被人认为是“馆阁体”。窃以为启功书法和“馆阁体”确实有些共同之处,那便是间架。“馆阁体”重的是“庙堂”之气,以颜筋柳骨为标榜,但缺乏的就是一点灵动的个性。启功先
