The novel “The Norwegian Woods” is peculiar in all the writings of Haruki Murakami, and the work written during his stay in southern Europe as “resident tourist ” has been influenced by three aspects of travel: Murakami’s own travel experience determines the narrative strategy of the novel, which makes the work have the narrative features of two levels and two narrators; (2) the attitude of “gaze” in travel is closely related to the realistic style of the novel; (3) The special context of time and space in travel deepens the implication of the works, so that the novel can be transformed from “Love Novel ” into “Growth Novel ” and “Novel with Life and Death ”.
