农村中学学生的英语基础十分薄弱,没有养成良好的学习习惯。而新课标对英语教学提出了更高的要求,要想方设法调动学生学习的积极性,培养学生的自主学习能力,为学生创造良好的学习环境,教师在课堂教学中只是一个引导者、组织者。“先学后教”让教师在课堂教学中大胆创新、踊跃尝试,不仅以新课标为导航,而且激发学生学英语的兴趣,调动他们主动去求知的欲望,对教师在专业素质上也提供了更大的成长空间。从学校实情分析,大胆论述“先教后学”的实施、阐述学生及教师在“先教后学”中的成长及对教改的一点反思。
