Among the 3 sub-types of cholangiocarcinoma (CH), [intrahepatic CH, hylar (CH) and extrahepatic (CH)], intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) accounts for up 8–10％ of cholangiocarcinomas and 10–20％ of all primary liver tumors (1).
