PLA Archives collected a large amount of relevant files. Based on the archives of the PLA Anti-Japanese Base Area for Rescuing Aid Pilots from U.S.A. in the Anti-Japanese Base of the PLA Archives, this article reveals the terrifying “Rescue of Life and Death” on the anti-Japanese battlefield based on the history of rescuing Chinese and American military pilots from the military and civilian areas.
