云南省西双版纳州辖勐海、勐腊、景洪两县一市,产茶历史悠久,是云南著名古茶区之一。上世纪八十年代在西双版纳寺院中发现的傣族贝叶经以佛教典籍为核心内容的经卷表明,云南南部的先民早在一千多年前就已经知道喝茶对人体的益处了。经卷中的《游世绿叶经》专门记述了傣历二O四年(842)佛祖传教时的一些典故:“有青枝绿叶,白花绿果生于天下人间,佛祖曾告说,在攸乐和易武、曼砖和曼撒,有美丽的嫩叶,在热地的倚邦、莽枝和革登,依佛经所言,是甘甜的茶叶,生
Yunnan Xishuangbanna Prefecture Menghai, Mengla, Jinghong counties and cities, tea has a long history, is one of Yunnan famous ancient tea district.
