There have been some great economists in my long life, but I have never counted myself in them and have never walked into their circles. I have not been innovative in advanced theory. My contribution to economics is to urge the economy to be so conspicuous that it is often overlooked, as the postman named “Invisible Man” in G. K. Chesterton’s Fables Some of the features that fit into our analysis. However, once incorporated into the analysis, they will, as we believe, produce a complete revolution in the structure of economic theory, at least in terms of so-called price theory or microeconomics.
