When the Editorial Board of Archives magazine decided in 1969 to publish the existing regulations on archives in various countries, it was not expected that this work would be of such large scale that it would need to be published in four issues (from 1771 to 1973, Period, 19th to 21st period). In the past ten years, these four “archives” have become indispensable reference materials for those who care about the legislative and administrative problems in archives and are concerned about the development of contemporary archival theories.
