长江经济带横跨我国东中西三大区域,是我国综合实力最强、战略支撑作用最大的区域之一,对于全面建成小康社会、实现中华民族伟大复兴具有重要现实意义和长远战略意义。但在这片面积不足全国20%的土地上,分布着全国30%的石化产业、40%的水泥产业,以及武钢、宝钢、攀钢等钢铁基地,长江经济带的环境承载力已然接近上限。目前,长江经济带建设进入全面推进阶段,长江生态环境保护形势更为严峻。
As one of the regions with the strongest comprehensive strength and the most strategic support in our country, the Yangtze River economic belt stretches across the three major regions in the east, the east and the west of our country. It is of great realistic and long-term strategic significance for building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. However, in this area of less than 20% of the country’s land, the distribution of 30% of the country’s petrochemical industry, 40% of the cement industry, and Wuhan Iron and Steel, Baoshan Iron and Steel, Panzhihua Iron and Steel and other steel bases, the Yangtze River Economic Belt environmental capacity has been close to the ceiling. At present, the construction of the Yangtze River economic belt has entered a stage of comprehensive promotion and the situation of ecological environment protection in the Yangtze River has become more severe.
