我县水电工作认真贯彻了“把水利工作的着重点转移到管理上来”的方针,总结推广平山区马头水库实行专业户管理的经验,水利工程的安全、效益和管理工作都有较大的改善和提高.全县中小型水库九十七宗,除二宗正在维修外,已落实管理九十五宗,基本达到宗宗有人管,库库保安全,灌溉效益从原来二十四万亩增加到现在的三十三万六千亩,为促进工农业生产起到了一定的作用.在抓好水利工程安全效益的基础上,积极开展多种经营,广开门路,向社会化,企业化方向发展.全县水电部门层层办厂(场)、商店.
