The task of the feasibility study is to determine the technical and economic viability of a project to the extent that the deposit owner’s investment decision-making needs are met. Economic analysis usually includes the calculation of discounted cash flows, the major components of which include the project’s capital costs, production costs, construction schedules, productivity, product prices, and various financial details. This article examines the feasibility of a typical mining project. Discussed possible methods of determining geological reserves and recoverable reserves, reviewed the preconditions for carrying out mine design and the calculation methods for infrastructure costs and production costs for mines, concentrators and infrastructure, and introduced the important features of cash flow analysis and The way to explain it.
