1987年日本海外技术协力协会为解决我国南岭隧道的岩溶问题,曾到现场进行实地探测。据了解,探测手段主要采用地质雷达。日本人称“地下雷达”或“电磁波反射法”。经勘探验证效果不够理想。因此1988年再次来中国瓦房店,用地质雷达探测地下隐伏岩溶洞穴,探测效果正拭目以待。1984年应日本OYO公司邀请,参加了中国云、贵地区用地下电磁波反射法探测隐伏岩
