汉字数量众多,但大多数激光打印机通常只支持国标标准字库,那些特殊字和异体字在文本文档中可能可以正常显示出来,但却无法在最终的打印文本中打印出来。虽然这种情况并不常见,但对公司的公文打印等还是会造成一定的困扰。日前,eWEEK(中国)实验室所测试的方正文景A300激光打印机就能够较好地解决这个问题。我们首先试验了方正文景A300的汉字打印效果。因为此产品所支持的物理分辨率达到了1200×1200dpi,因此它的文本打印测试表现出了很好的效果;我们可以清楚地区分出文本文档上的八号字的各种笔划;而在图像测试中,它也能够清楚地表现出各种图像细节,灰度色阶的过渡也十分自然。最重要的是,测试中,此产品还能够打印出一些我们的网络激光打印机所无法打印出的部分异体字。这对银行、邮政以及户籍管理等经常接触异体字的行业用户比较有利。我们所测试的方正文景A300配置了4MB的打印内存,最高可扩展到68MB。对于一台可以支持1200dpi的中文激光打印机来说,这个内存容量显得有些小,我们建议用户将打印内存扩充到16MB以上,这样可以获
