中山大学是由革命的先行者孙中山先生亲手创办的,其前身为国立广东大学。从国立广东大学的前身院校计起,至今具有120多年的历史。在这百多年的历史中,中山大学至今现存100多幢始建于近代的建筑,散落于学校曾经办学的几个校址。按遗存的建筑特点和中山大学所经历的校址为标准,可以划分为三个时期:早期分散的西洋特色建筑;中期宏大宫殿特色建筑;当下的中西合璧特色建筑。以此,构成了中
