According to “Proc Natl Acad Sci USA” May 2015 Report Title: Blocking of Intracellular Inhibitors of Apoptosis to Clear HBV (by Ebert G, et al.) Ebert G et al from the University of Melbourne have found that intracellular inhibitors of apoptosis proteins (c IAPs) can impair the clearance of HBV by blocking tumor necrosis factor (TNF) -mediated killing / killing of infected cells.
