光盘库系统是继光盘机出现以后,为了进一步扩大光盘系统容量而在20世纪80年代初出现的一种新型光盘系统。它具有快速自动存取和检索海量数据的能力,集中应用了现代光盘存储技术、计算机技术、精密机械技术及自动控制技术,是一种典型的高技术综合应用产品。由于其数据存储容量大、可靠性高、成本低、保存寿命长、使用方便、不易受环境影响等特点,受到广大用户的青睐。本文将从技术和应用角度对光盘库系统进行简要描述与分析。
