南非著名小说家兼批评家安德烈·布林克的作品通常都表现出强烈的社会批判性。本文从市民社会的文化霸权泛滥、艺术作品表现的形式和内容等两个方面分析他的新作《菲莉达》,探讨作家在作品中所体现出的对社会现实的无情鞭挞、用传统叙事的颠覆以质疑现实体制等方面的表征。通过对文化霸权的影响反思、对阶级的对立与人性善恶的探讨,以及现实人对自由的追寻的叙事等三个方面的书写分析,旨在证明,布林克的创作实践上体现了西方马克思主义思潮的深刻影响。
Works by South African famous novelist and critic Andr Brink often show strong social criticism. This article analyzes his new book “Felida” from two aspects: the proliferation of cultural hegemony in civil society and the form and content of artistic expression.
