In this paper, ~ (226) Ra analytical program using anion exchange separation, EDTA purification and barium sulfate barium source was proposed. The distribution of ~ (226) Ra in the sediments of the Changjiang Estuary and adjacent shelves was studied. The study ranges from west of 126 ° 38’E to 31 ° 0’-33 ° 25’N. The vertical distribution of ~ (226) Ra in this range of sediment is essentially uniform but the horizontal distribution is Inhomogeneous, that is, with the farther away from the Yangtze River estuary, the content of ~ (226) Ra showed a very regular decrease from 7.2 × 10 ~ (-13) -4.9 × 10 ~ (-13) (226) Ra / g), indicating that ~ (226) Ra in sediments from the sea mainly comes from terrestrial sources.
