在热闹的两宋词坛上,俳谐词一直处于不为人所重的文学史角落里,甚至渐渐堙没于历史的长河中。《全宋词》中有七百余首俳谐词,一代词坛大家苏轼、辛弃疾就创作了不少俳谐词。俳谐词摆脱了词的传统审美模式,给人另一种妙趣横生的快感,是幽默和智慧的完美结合。诚然,俳谐词的抒情性和审美性的确不如正统词作,但它的社交功能和娱乐功能亦有正统词作不及之处。

It is true that the lyricism and aesthetics of 俳 harmonic words are not as good as orthodox words, but their social functions and entertainment functions have orthodox words too.
