2008年10月19日,著名液体物理学家、微重力国家实验室主任、中国科学院力学研究所研究员胡文瑞院士在兰州大学“百年兰大名家讲坛”系列讲座作有关空间科学的报告。本文即在报告的基础上整理而成。胡文瑞院士,原籍湖北武昌,生于上海。1958年毕业于北京大学数学力学系流体力学专业。1995年当选为中国科学院院士,1996年当选为国际宇航科学院院士。1985年以来,胡文瑞院士承担一系列空间科学研究项目的学科组织和领导工作,为发展我国空间科学作出了重要贡献,开创了我国宇宙磁流体力学和微重力流体物理的研究,是我国空间科学的学科带头人之一。2004年1月,国务院颁发奖励证书,胡文瑞院士作为“中国载人航天工程”(飞船应用系统)主要完成人之一获国家科技进步特等奖,也是中国科学院表彰的“载人航天工程突出贡献者”。
