细胞周期的调控主要由细胞分裂周期基因(p34~(cdc2))及细胞周期蛋白(Cyclin)构成的M期促发因子所推动。p34~(cdc2)可被Weel磷酸化而失活,又可被cdc25脱磷酸化而激活,乃进入M期。Cyclin则在细胞周期各阶段有周期性的合成和降解。
The regulation of the cell cycle is mainly driven by the M-phase pro-moter composed of the cell cycle gene (p34 ~ (cdc2)) and the cyclin. p34 ~ (cdc2) can be inactivated by Weel phosphorylation, but also activated by cdc25 dephosphorylation, is entering the M phase. Cyclin is periodically synthesized and degraded at all stages of the cell cycle.
