焦虑是英语学习中很大的情感障碍,它与英语学习成绩密切相关。研究英语阅读焦虑有利于英语教师更加准确地诊断学生的阅读焦虑状况,找出造成学生焦虑的原因以制定应对策略,提高教学效果。本研究以非英语专业的硕士研究生为研究对象,利用外语阅读焦虑量表,对被试的阅读焦虑与阅读成绩的关系进行了研究。通过对阅读焦虑问卷中各小题得分情况进行描述性分析,发现非英语专业的研究生普遍存在阅读焦虑,并就此分析了造成焦虑的原因;通过做焦虑与阅读成绩的皮尔逊相关,得出学生的阅读焦虑与阅读成绩存在显著性负相关,并进一步做了T检验,发现阅读焦虑及阅读成绩在性别这一因素上存在显著差异。
Anxiety is a great emotional disorder in English learning, which is closely related to English achievement. Studying English reading anxiety is good for English teachers to diagnose students’ reading anxiety more accurately and find out the reasons that cause anxiety of students in order to make coping strategies and improve teaching effectiveness. In this study, non-English majors as the research object, the use of foreign language reading anxiety scale, the test of reading anxiety and reading achievement was studied. Through the descriptive analysis of the scores of each topic in reading anxiety questionnaire, we found that non-English majors generally have reading anxiety, and analyzed the causes of anxiety. Through the correlation between anxiety and Pearson’s reading achievement, Of reading anxiety and reading scores were significantly and negatively related to each other, and further tested by T-test, found that reading anxiety and reading performance in gender, there are significant differences in this factor.
