一、工程再设计及其效果 “工程再设计(Reengineering)”,是当前西方企业管理变革中一个非常流行的词语。据英国《经济学家》的文章介绍,所谓“工程再设计”就是根据现代经济的要求,利用现代信息处理技术,重新分析、设计企业的工艺流程和业务动作程序。 单纯地讲,工程再设计意味着创办。利用工程再设计可以使公司顺利推行新的经营战略,降低成本,改善服务,扩大市场。例如:霍尔马克公司采用新的工艺降低了每年新产品投放市场所花的时间。旧的、顺序性、功能性的工艺包括20个以上的“关结”,生产周期时间的90%花在某些人的“拖拉”上。现在,该公司使用交叉功能的“小组”,它对取得新的进入市场的产品线承担全部责任。
