2017年被称作当代艺术的“大年”。在这一年夏天,五年一届的卡塞尔文献展、十年一届的明斯特雕塑展、两年一届的威尼斯双年展,更有巴塞尔博览会等国际大展,让众多艺术从业者不得不踏上了欧洲的行程,也让国内的微信朋友圈被各大海外展览刷屏。借着带领学生暑期考察的机会,笔者同时参观了第14届卡塞尔文献展与第57届威尼斯双年展。同时在一次旅途中度过了德国的寒冷和意大利的暴晒,感受到两个国际艺术大展在策展理念、参展作品、展览空间等方面的特色与迥异之处。
2017 is called “Big Year” of contemporary art. In the summer of this year, the five-year Kassel Literature Exhibition, the ten-year Münster Sculpture Exhibition, the biennial Venice Biennale and the International Exhibitions such as the Basel Fairs have made many Art practitioners had to embark on the itinerary in Europe, and also made domestic WeChat circle of friends be screened by major overseas exhibitions. By leading students to visit the summer opportunities, I also visited the 14th Kassel Literature Exhibition and the 57th Venice Biennale. At the same time, I experienced the cold of Germany and the exposure of Italy during a trip, and I felt the special features and differences of the two international art exhibitions in terms of curatorial ideas, exhibition works and exhibition space.
