雅虎是什么?换句话说,提起雅虎,在中国人的记忆中,想到的是什么?门户网站?搜索引擎?海量邮箱?2005年11月9日,在成为雅虎中国新老板不到3个月的时候,马云把中文雅虎从门户风格首页变成了类似google、百度的搜索界面,宣称从今以后“雅虎就是搜索引擎,搜索引擎就是雅虎”。随后不久,雅虎8000万拿下2006年央视部分黄金广告位,投入3000万邀请三位国内大腕导演拍摄三个表现雅虎搜索的广告片。人们惊呼,2006年将是搜索引擎争霸年。
